Frequently Asked Questions

How do I place an order?

Visit our store. Here you will see our entire stock of plants. You may browse our store and add items to your cart. Then at any time, you may checkout!
Our checkout is unique in that we do not ask for any financial information. After completing checkout, your name, email, payment method, shipping method, and order information is sent to us. We will then review your order and send an invoice through your selected payment method (Google Checkout or PayPal). After the invoice is paid, we then recieve your shipping information and your order can be processed!


Do you accept international orders?

Yes, however there are some requirements. Please view our Shipping Policies page and our Secure Ordering page.


What kind of guarantee do you offer?

We guarantee live arrival. We also guarantee that you will receive the items that you order. We always ship out healthy plants. If your package has any perished plants, please contact us immediately. Do not toss the plant as we may require photo verification. Upon confirmation of the loss, we will provide a refund for the cost of that plant(s).


We do not guarantee that you will be successful in growing these plants as your environmental conditions are different than ours.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept PayPal or Google Checkout. We also accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. These are processed via PayPal--though you do not need an account with PayPal to submit a payment. If a major credit card is used with Google Checkout or PayPal, it will show 'Utopia Aquatic' on your statement. We do not accept money orders, personal checks, or cash.


What kind of plants can I expect to recieve?

Your plants are guaranteed to be true-to-name and will arrive bare-root. They will have a healthy set of roots and the size of the foliage averages a little larger than a DVD disc. Every effort is made to send a blooming plant--however this is not always possible.
